Light: The String of Pearls plant thrives in bright, indirect light. It prefers several hours of bright, indirect sunlight each day. However, it's important to protect it from intense, direct sunlight, as it can scorch the delicate leaves.

Watering: This plant has low water requirements and is susceptible to overwatering. Allow the soil to dry out partially between waterings. Water sparingly, but thoroughly, ensuring that the excess water drains out completely. It's better to underwater than to overwater this plant.

Soil: Requires well-draining soil to prevent waterlogged roots. A succulent or cactus potting mix is ideal. You can create one by combining regular potting soil with perlite or coarse sand to improve drainage.

Fertilization: Fertilization is not as crucial for the String of Pearls plant, but you can use a balanced, diluted liquid fertilizer during the growing season (spring and summer). Apply the fertilizer at half the recommended strength once a month to provide some nutrients to the plant.

Humidity: The String of Pearls plant is not particularly demanding when it comes to humidity. It can tolerate average indoor humidity levels. However, if the air is excessively dry, you can increase humidity by misting the plant occasionally or placing a tray of water near it.

Temperature: Prefers average to warm temperatures between 65-80°F (18-27°C). It can tolerate slightly cooler temperatures, but not below 50°F (10°C). Protect it from cold drafts and temperature fluctuations.

Propagation: String of Pearls can be propagated easily through stem cuttings. Select a healthy stem and gently remove a few inches of it. Allow the cutting to dry and callous for a day or two. Then, plant the cutting in well-draining succulent soil and keep it slightly moist until it develops roots, which typically takes a few weeks.

Blooms: String of Pearls plants occasionally produce small, white, daisy-like flowers. However, they are not the main attraction of this plant, and it may take several years for a well-established plant to bloom. The plant is primarily grown for its unique trailing, bead-like foliage.
